For Tigran Mikaelyan, the founder and artistic director of NPH , who himself built his artistic career in Germany after arriving as an emigrant, this commitment is also a moral obligation — to support the country that gave him the opportunity to grow and succeed as a musician.

The Neue Philharmonie Hamburg regards the development of the next generation of musicians as one of its most important missions. The orchestra creates unique opportunities for young performers — from their first steps on the professional stage to participation in major concerts and projects.

Young artists are given the chance to perform on prestigious stages, collaborate with experienced musicians and conductors, and refine their skills through rehearsals and creative workshops.
